Dominic Cranford, AKA DNice, is the founder and CEO of the fast-growing StayHumbleHustleHard brand. The name "DNice" was coined while Dominic was a star basketball player - the "D' for Dominic, and "Nice" which was descriptive of her incredible skills on the court.

 

Dominic was born and raised in Jackson, MS., where she was a Dandy Dozen - one of the top 12 players in the state. After a stellar high school career, Dominic went on to star at the University of West Georgia where she is the only player in the school's history to be named GSC Player of the Year twice! After college, Dominic took her skills overseas where she played women's professional basketball in Portugal. In 2014 she was inducted into the University of West Georgia Sports Hall of Fame!

Always into fashion and a true sneaker-head, Dominic first posted the StayHumbleHustleHard log on social media in 2014 and the response was overwhelming and proved to be an incredible blessing! So on March 12, 2014 she made the decision to drop the brand even though it was earlier than intended. But demand was high and the time was right. Although this was something totally new for her, Dominic poured the same love and passion that she had for basketball into the brand. She eats, sleeps and s*** the StayHumbleHustleHard brand 24/7 and 365 days a year.

Dominic credits a big part of her success to her commitment to investing back into the community of Jackson and helping others. Every year Dominic has sponsored special events like"Women's Breakfast for the Homeless", "Kids Day" and just this year, provided free haircuts for homeless men. She also sponsored a "Back to School" event with free school supplies and haircuts for the kids. Having personally experienced being homeless herself, Dominic is appreciative of her blessings and giving back is the least she can do.
